Ammonite "Leslie"

Stunning Ammonite specimen that would make a great centerpiece for any collection. This piece has been carved on one side to reveal the amazing colors and intricate patterns this ammonite has; its full of interesting highlights, dendritic markings and has some really nice "flashy" spots. A truly gorgeous specimen. Comes with a stand as well.

Ammonites were a species of mollusk that went extinct roughly 65 million years ago. Fossilized surfaces of ammonites vary greatly depending on the region where the specimen was discovered and the environmental conditions available when fossilization took place. All of them are beautiful reminders of the natural world.

Approximately 9” x 7” x 2.5"  | 5 lb 4.4 oz
