At over 4.5 billion years old, Muonionalusta is likely the oldest known iron meteorite. It fell to Earth around one million years ago and was discovered in 1906 by the Muonio River in Sweden by two children. Muonionalusta fragments are sought after for their unique and beautiful internal patterning when cut and polished, called Widmanstätten. This pattern was formed while the meteorite travelled through space for eons, going through intense heating and cooling and creating this mysterious etched design.
When you hold a Muonionalusta in your hand, you are holding the most ancient existence in the universe (that's available to us on Earth). Meditating with this is believed to help activate Kundalini energy as well as align the mind, soul, and body.
They are also thought to have incredibly powerful protection abilities, great for travelers or for helping guide lost souls back to a positive and fulfilling path.
